Which binding is right for my thesis?
For Bachelor's and Master's theses the embossed hardcover is the classic; for term papers a wire ring or comb binding is usually enough. Check your examination office's requirements to be sure — and see our guide to choosing a binding.
How fast will my thesis be ready?

Which file format should I hand in?

How many copies do I have to hand in?
Your examination regulations decide – in Thuringia, three bound copies plus a digital version are common, and some faculties now accept digital only. Our guide to thesis submission in Thuringia has the overview.
Is the declaration of authorship bound in?
Yes – bring the signed declaration or include it in your file and we'll bind it in firmly. Many universities require exactly that.
